Player Profiles - Second Team :

Captain of the seconds since the team formed back in 1996.

Is the control-maker at C but will play wherever she is needed!

Best known for her atom-bomb throws, sweaty look and steaming head!(?)
Alisa joined the club eight years ago.

Best known for her bad wind and keeping the score if it doesn't go above 25!

Brings the play down court very nicely and is always free for the pass.
Chantel has been in the team for ten years now, orignally starting in defence but soon realised she had the knack of shooting.

She frustrates opposing defenders by her limited movement and accurate shooting.
Kirsty is one of the original members of the team, joining the club back in 1996.

She's our 5ft Rottweiler, no defender is too big she'll always give as good as she gets!

Known for her speed and agility in the circle. Has done well when playing up.
If Inspector Gadget ever had any offspring, Clare is it. A Queen of interceptions with her go-go-gadget arms!

Clare is one of our most versatile members as she is able to play both in defence and attack.

Also known for 'milking' injuries....
Emma joined the club in 2006 and has added strength and agility in defence.

A dedicated member, Emma is always the first one at training - just don't ask her to take off her gloves, coat, hat....!

Emma has played up numerous times and was part of the Brighton 2007 team.
Jenni was one of the founding members of the club - yes more than 30yrs ago!!

Despite her age, Jenni is still an effective member of the team, her speed may be on its way out but her experience is invaluable.

Jenni also invented the 'roll-ball' pass - dreaded by all her team-mates.
Zoe joined the team in 2005 and is proving a very versatile player.

Although an attacking player, Zoe is very effective defending down the court. Zoe was also part of the Brighton 2007 team.

Known for her love of tents.
Another long-standing member of the team, Tina joined in 1998.

Tall and lean, she's our answer to George Foreman's lean, mean grilling machine! Except she defends rather than cooks meat!!

No longer apologises for her interceptions....
Gina joined the club this season and is a welcome addition - as she is willing to play anywhere!

Well and truly came out of her shell at the Christmas Party!!

We look forward to many more seasons with Gina at the club.
